 Bobbi Misiti is known for her enthusiasm and love of Yoga.
She combines this enthusiasm with education of the body and how it moves. Her journey to the yoga path began in 1990 as a self employed personal trainer and fitness instructor. Many years of athletics and exercise lead her to seek yoga as a balance between fitness for the body and inner well being. Finding this balance in her own life and feeling the benefit to body, heart, and mind she has dedicated my life to practicing and teaching yoga. She has been a student of Yoga since 1992 and have taught Yoga since 1997.

Bobbi practices and teaches in the Ashtanga Method as her teacher, Nancy Gilgoff, taught her. She has studied extensively with Nancy since 2003, taking frequent trips to Maui to spend time connecting with her, and to focus on her own practice and teaching skills. She began in the Ashtanga method with Beryl Bender Birch in 1998 and with Manju Jois in 1999.

In April of 2001 she opened BeFit Body & Mind YOGA, taking a giant leap on her own to teach Ashtanga Yoga from my heart and in a way that is beneficial to body, heart, and mind.

Theory and Philosophy behind the Ashtanga practice 

Why we do what we do!  Bobbi will talk about the reasons behind the poses (internal cleansing, etc) and why we forward bend with our heel in our gut.  The balance in the ashtanga practice between inner and external work, also in keeping balance between physical work and energetic work and relaxing in the poses, details about the breathing process, bandhas and core connections, establishing a daily practice and trusting the framework of the ashtanga practice.  She will also address specific questions people may have about the ashtanga practice.

Scedule:

Practice at 5pm.

After practice wi will talk about theory, practice, philosophy and life with yogaJ, Q&A

PRICE: 30 EUR on the day of the practice 35 EUR, 5%discount for the owners of unlimited tickets.
